speeds of the fastest five speed in the country rich's car has run high 12xs on 1.7 runs, as well as 2.0 runs spinning his et streets in all gears. we will see lets see how many more mph he can get out of it, but right now it doesn't say much, plus the fact that he is running more boost than me. : In high horsepower cars like Zhound's traction has alot to do with trap speeds! If you don't get the power to the ground you can't see the power in the trap speed! A mildly powerfull car that has slight traction problems in the first 60 feet (expecialy Auto's) will usually run consistant trap speeds. ZHOUND was driving his car with nitto's with no traction at all spining the tires wildly in 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th ....his traps were 100 to 116 ......ZHOUND barrowed some BFG's and with the car set up the same way except for traction, the car ran 127 to 129 traps. Mark Leaders car ran 119 to 120 traps while the sun was out : and the track had some traction.....later in the day when the track got colder and the car was slipping all over in 1st 2nd and 3rd it only ran 111 to 113 traps. something else that happens with autos is you are always in the power band and you launch with boost. With sticks traction and driver determine how much of the power and powerband you use. Something all the high powered stick Z's were doing was spining wildly hitting the rev limit, then shifting when the car is not moving fast enough for the next gear so the car would bog being out of the power band. then they would get back in the power band and the wheels would spin again hit the rev limit shift early again and so on.... Zo is making much more power then FANTAZ but FANTAZ uses all of his power all the way down the track with his automatic. Hope that makes more since to people. Greg
